Science topics for Term 1

Hi everyone,

Here are the topics that we will be learning for P5 Science in Term 1. This will help you to plan your revisions at home in time for CA1.

In the meantime, remember to bring your research on how plants store food during the next Science lesson (which is tomorrow, by the way). We will be starting on Science spelling tomorrow as well. Learn the correct words for spelling!

Welcome to a new year at Endeavour! 
I read through your "Fauxbook" profiles and I must say that there were many varied responses as to how you reacted when you found out I was your teacher. Some amusing, some sad (sorry guys!), some happy (thank you!)...
Regardless of your initial response, I hope over time, we will get to know each other better and adapt to a different classroom environment.
P5 is going to be an exciting year with plenty of events - so in order to have a great year ahead, here's a recap of our way of life:

• O - Only Give Your Best.

         This means 
          -  bringing & handing in NEAT work ON TIME.
          -  giving 100 % effort in everything you do. 
             (no carelessness)           

• R - Respect. 

          This means

           - to respect your parents, teachers, friends & yourself. 

• E - Expect to learn & Encourage.

          This means
           - come into the class with the intention of learning.
           - no matter how knowledgeable we are, there will 
             always be something for us to learn in class.
           - encourage your peers and celebrate the achievements 
              of   others.

• O - One Voice At A Time. 

          This means
           - When the teacher speaks, you listen.
           - When you speak, all of us will listen.

• S - Smile- cos' life's better when you do!

          This means
          - no matter how boring/difficult/stressful things  get, complaining is not going to make things better.          

          - so, be positive & smile your way through it!

As long as you remember and act the OREOS way - we are going to have one AWESOME year ahead!
